One of Sid’s most productive periods was in Greece, in 1982. He spent three months photographing townsfolk, restaurants, walkways, waterways, places high and low, small and large, and everything between. These images represent some of his best, so we thought they’d be a great place to start. As so many great things start in Greece.

This site is a work-in-progress. It is intended to be a living memorial to Sid Hamilton, his work and his life. It is also dedicated to two beloved nephews who died the summer of 2015, John Whelan and Bryan Conkling. Many more photos and stories to come...
